Express Your Outrage to Representative Snyder For Putting the Health & Safety of Women at Risk!
Doctors, not politicians, should decide what information and care to offer their patients. House Bill 257 puts the health and safety of Florida women at risk and does nothing to prevent unintended pregnancy and reduce the need for abortion. Politicians who are sincere about reducing the need for abortion should focus on prevention, not intrusive, unnecessary legislation.

Subject: Focus on Prevention Not Restriction
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
I am outraged by your support of House Bill 257 which creates barriers to needed health care, puts women's health at risk, and interferes in the doctor-patient relationship.
Instead of jeopardizing the health and safety of women and families, I urge you to support commonsense measures such as the Healthy Teens Act (HB 449) and the Prevention First Act (HB 385) that will increase access to contraception and medically accurate sex education, thereby reducing the number of abortions by preventing unintended pregnancies.
On behalf of the 600,000 men, women, and teens Planned Parenthood serves in Florida, I urge you to work with Planned Parenthood in taking a proven approach to preventing unintended pregnancies and reducing the need for abortion through investing in prevention.
Sincerely,
|
