Two Planned Parenthood Health
Centers Opened in Broward
We have expanded access
to critical reproductive health care and education services in
Broward County by opening two health centers on August 3rd.
During this time of economic uncertainty, opening additional
health centers increases access to family planning services
(which are more important for some couples now than ever). More
centers are a commonsense investment in the health and
well-being of our community. Click
here for more information on the health
centers and to make an appointment today!

Planned Parenthood Goes Local to
Global
Sarah has been serving women as a
Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practictioner for 18
years. In addition to her current work at Planned
Parenthood health centers in Vero Beach, she performs medical
mission trips to Guatemala. She says her work in
poverty-stricken Guatemala has helped her work at Planned
Parenthoods in Vero where medical poverty is an issue that
affects 70% of the local babies. Click

work.
Take
Care
Stock Up On Your Back
Up
Hurricane season is a time to stock up on supplies. So take
control and make sure you stock up on your back-up. Emergency
Contraception also known as EC serves
as a back-up to your standard birth control methods. You use EC
when/if your condom breaks, you forget to take your pill, or you
had sex when you didn't want or plan to. We all like to be
prepared. That is why it's a great idea to keep some Plan B in
your medicine cabinet or bedside table in case of an
accident. To get EC visit one of our health
centers.
