The
month of August proved to be grueling for Health Care Reform.
Anti-choice extremists launched all-out assaults on
women's health care, using every dishonest attack and dirty
trick possible to prevent women from accessing comprehensive
reproductive health care, from birth control to abortion.
If our opponents have
their way, women could be left worse off after health care
reform, by losing access to health care and to their provider of
choice. With Congress back in session,
you can bet things are about to get louder!
As the Health Care Debate resumes, Planned Parenthood is
working to ensure that members of Congress
prioritize women’s health. We need your help calling upon our
supporters to make this work possible.
Next week, our supporters will
receive a letter asking them to renew their contribution to
support our health care campaign. We need your help in Eugene conducting
calls to follow up with
supporters.
