The short explanation of this alert was:

January 22, 2008 marks the 35th anniversary of the landmark US Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion in the United States.  

For 35 days before and after the anniversary, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of New Jersey (PPANJ) will host an online petition as one of our many activties to commemorate 35 years of reproductive freedom.  Our goal is to get 3,500 signatures and 350 new members by February 26th, 35 days after the anniversary.  Let's work together to exceed these goals in the Garden State!

As PPANJ fights forward to defend a woman’s right to choose, please help us to ensure that our voices are heard.  Stand up for choice by adding your name to the list of pro-choice supporters and forwarding this petition on!
