Dear Activists:

We need your help! 

Already, six pieces of legislation have been introduced by Alabama legislators that aim to criminalize abortion or are otherwise detrimental to reproductive health.  Every year anti-choice legislators try to inch Alabama closer to a ban on abortion.  It is time to let Alabama legislators know that personal, private health care decisions should be made by women, their families, and their doctors - not politicians.

Stand Up for Alabama Women by signing our Prevention First petition!

The citizens of Alabama know that if legislators truly care about reducing the number of unintended pregnancies and the need for abortion, they would work with Planned Parenthood to increase access to contraceptives and medically accurate sex education.  Alabama legislators should stop pushing for dangerous restrictions that threaten women's health and focus on the real issue:  unintended pregnancy. 

Criminalizing abortion does nothing to reduced unintended pregnancies or abortion. 

Sign the petition to let legislators know that we do not support their efforts to put politics above the health and safety of women by their continued attempts to criminalize and further restrict abortion.
