Planned Parenthood Golden Gate Opposes Proposition 73
Proposition 73, an initiative on the November 8th special election ballot, endangers the health and safety of California teens. It would amend the state constitution to require health care providers to notify the parents of young women under the age of 18 before providing abortion services.
Along with Planned Parenthood, the California Medical Association, the California Nurses Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, District IX California, American Academy of Pediatrics, NARAL Pro-Choice California, the ACLU and many other medical and civil rights organizations oppose Prop 73.
