Last week, the State of Washington through the Attorney General’s Office, joined by the plaintiffs in the case—that’s right the people who are suing to restrict women’s access to health care—filed a motion with the court requesting a delay to the lawsuit brought by two pharmacists and a pharmacy to a Washington State Board of Pharmacy rule requiring all licensed pharmacies to fill patients’ prescriptions, regardless of an individual pharmacist’s personal beliefs. Today the judge in the trial ruled in favor of the state's motion, and against us.The trial will now be put on hold while the Board of Pharmacy reopens debate on whether a pharmacist should have the right to decide whether to give you your legally prescribed medications based on his or her personal beliefs.
