We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit Planned Parenthood Online.

The short explanation of this alert was:

The fight for women's access to reproductive health care has landed in Aurora, Illinois, a fast-growing city outside Chicago, where Planned Parenthood just built our newest health center.

The usual suspects in the anti-choice fringe showed up in droves - more people protested this clinic than we've seen in a very long time. And they did everything in their power to try to keep our clinic doors shut. But, Planned Parenthood prevailed and we opened the clinic on October 1, 2007.  You can still help! Simply complete the information at right to tie a ribbon of support at the clinic.

You'll be sending a powerful message to the protesters that Planned Parenthood has support from across the country. And, you'll let the women seeking care there know that they are welcome and supported, too.

The outpouring of help from people like you kept us going in the fight to open the clinic. Take a look at what one of our volunteers had to say in the video below:

You see, the fight to open this clinic isn't just some isolated incident. What happened in Aurora is what's happening in America. It's not a war on a clinic - it's a war on women's access to needed health care - in Aurora, and across our country.

Thank you for your help today - and once you've tied your ribbon, please ask friends to do the same.

*No personal information will be printed on the ribbon to protect your privacy.
