After years of delay, the FDA once again denied women increased access to Plan B emergency contraception (EC) also known as the "morning-after pill." Although the medical and scientific communities firmly support this safe and effective form of birth control, the FDA again delayed its decision on whether to make EC available without a prescription and now says it wants to hear from the public before making a ruling.

Urge your member of Congress to hold a hearing to investigate the FDA's diversion tactics. Ensure that Congress questions the FDA about this unprecedented delay. Does the FDA practice health science or political science? We want to know.
