We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit PPSNE's Connecticut Action Network.

The short explanation of this alert was:

While we applaud the FDA's decision to put emergency contraception (Plan B) over the counter for women over the age of 18, it does not solve the problem of ensuring access to emergency contraception at Connecticut hospitals and is not a substitute for the acceptable standard of care for rape victims.
CT lawmakers need to hear from CT residents who believe that ALL women deserve access to emergency contraception in every hospital emergency room.  Emergency contraception is the standard of post-rape medical care and every woman and every publicly funded hospital in CT should stock and dispense this medication.

Sign the "EC in the ER" petition today and ensure all survivors of sexual assault have access to emergency contraception in CT hospitals!
