Join a Rapid Response Team in your Local Community!
Planned Parenthood is organizing Rapid Response Teams in key locations throughout the country to lead the way on health care reform. To help ensure that our affiliate health centers and the care they provide are included in the final health care reform plan, we will need to move quickly to activate thousands of supporters to contact their representatives in Congress.
At critical times during this process, we would ask YOU to help us respond immediately by calling supporters in your district and asking them to contact their legislators. As the health care reform process quickly moves along, this kind of immediate grassroots mobilization will make the difference! We need YOU to win.
What does a Rapid Responder do? You'll be asked to: 1) recruit more supporters to help us spread the word about including reproductive health in health care reform
2) help our other supporters make their voices heard in Congress
As a Rapid Response Team member, you'll get an inside look at our strategy to win and play an important part in achieving our goal.

Dear Friend,
Anti-choice groups are trying to use health care legislation to strip access to abortion and other reproductive health care from millions of women. If we don't act now, women may find themselves worse off after health care reform passes than they are now.
That's why I've made the commitment to be a member of a Planned Parenthood Rapid Response Team in my local community, and I'm recruiting you to join me.
As the health care reform process quickly moves along, Rapid Response Teams (this could be YOU) will be asked to help Planned Parenthood respond immediately by calling supporters in their districts and asking them to contact their legislators. At critical times, this kind of immediate grassroots mobilization will make the difference!
Rapid Response Teams will also help Planned Parenthood recruit more supporters (like I'm doing right now!) to help spread the word about including reproductive health in health care reform. And we'll get an inside look at Planned Parenthood's strategy to win and play an important part in achieving our goals.
The bottom line: women's reproductive health care must be a priority, and that means women must not be worse off under health care reform. Reproductive health care must be covered and women must be able to access that care through providers they trust.
