Last week we told you about the anticipated vote by the Senate on the Healthy Youth Act. That vote was delayed last week, and it is now on the calendar to be heard on the Senate floor this afternoon.

Please bear with us and send one more email to your Senator! We anticipate that the Governor will sign the Healthy Youth Act into law if we can make a final push to get this bill through the Senate!

Tell your Senator that you support passing this bill with no amendments. Anti-choice forces have also proven themselves to be anti-prevention as they have tried to weaken this bill with amendments that force more students into the abstinence-only track.

Thanks to your efforts in the past month, the Healthy Youth Act has passed three House Committees, the entire House floor, and the Senate Mental Health and Youth Services committee.  

The bill will now be heard on the Senate Floor. Together, we can make a final push for this bill to become law!
