...New York's abortion law is one of those things.
The Supreme Court set a new and dangerous precedent this spring when it upheld the federal abortion ban without an exception to preserve a woman's health. While New York has long been a beacon for women's health and safety, our state law needs updating. As the federal government chips away at women's ability to make private reproductive health care decisions, we can insure that New York continues to protect women by supporting the Reproductive Health and Privacy Protection Act.
