What would you do if your doctor prescribed medication necessary for your basic health, but you couldn't afford the medication at your local health center?
Many Montana women could see the price for a package of birth control go from $20 to as much as $50. This is absolutely outrageous.
Thousands of Montana's college women, low income women, and rural women are drastically affected by the soaring cost of birth control, which has risen in many cases 900% this year due to a mistake Congress made last year. Until now, Congress has dragged their feet and not acted to fix the problem. But in Montana we are lucky to be able to say:
