Ipas, The International Women's Health Coalition, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America

Invite you to a screening of Not Yet Rain

Not Yet Rain, a short film by Emmy-nominated Lisa Russell, produced in association with Ipas, explores abortion in Ethiopia through the voices of women who have faced the challenge of finding safe care. While a law enacted in 2006 marked great progress toward reproductive freedom in Ethiopia, Not Yet Rain shows that changing the law is just the first step.

Unsafe abortions account for 13% of maternal deaths worldwide. Governments, donors, health practitioners, and civil society can work for legal and policy reform, provide safe services, and ensure that all women know their options.

Please join us for a reception and film screening, followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and experts in the field.
