In the ever-changing field of sexual and reproductive health, it can be challenging to keep up-to-date. But people rely on you to know cutting edge information about this sensitive subject. The better you are at keeping up with the latest developments in sexuality and reproductive health, the better you can serve the people that need this knowledge the most.
During this training, participants will receive the most current information on contraception and STDs, including HIV, and will receive tips and techniques on reviving and revitalizing their programs. Led by our energetic and experienced Community Educators and with guest speaker, Ann Garvin, MS,CNM, participants will leave informed and re-energized about their work.
During our day-long, interactive training, participants will:Update their knowledge on birth control methods; Refresh their information on STDs/HIV transmission,testing, and prevention; Examine developments on HPV and Gardasil; Understand advancements made in the field of sexual health; And take home techniques for updating their sexual health program.
