Fall Back into Learning: PPDE Education

educators and parents: would you like to learn medically-accurate and
age appropriate information to communicate to children and young
people? Join us this
fall to “Fall Back into Learning.”
Sexual Development
through the Lifespan: What kids need to know and when they need
to know it. October 22, 2009 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. -

This exciting eye-opening workshop
focuses on sexual development stages and behaviors from birth to
death. Participants will learn communication strategies and
conversation starters to connect with youth from cradle to
college to reduce risks such as STDs and unplanned pregnancy and
navigate healthy sexual development.
Connecting &
Communicating: Helping Teens Negotiate Healthy
Relationships
November 19, 2009

This workshop serves to promote healthy
dating relationships among teens through skills-based
information for parents and providers. Active listening and
effective communication skills will be examined along with
consent awareness and dating violence prevention
strategies.

credits available for teachers through the State Department of
