Greetings, Last night was our final scheduled phone bank for the 20th Congressional District race. First, let me say THANK YOU to all of you who came out for putting in volunteer hours to get this work done. I know you all have a lot on your plates. Even if you were only able to join us for part of the night, know that your contribution made a difference! We had a record 25 callers last night all over New York State. We made more than 1,000 calls with 602 supporting Scott Murphy, about 58%. Now for the final tally! The state-wide campaign began on Wednesday March 11. We spoke to 3,276 voters. We have identified a total of 1,882 votes for Scott Murphy at better than 57% and another 412 undecided voters at 19%. Be proud of all the work we have done! The special election is set to be held on Tuesday March 31. Watch the papers for results. Have a great day! |
