We want to update you on the very important election for the 23rd Congressional seat. As you have heard by now, Dede Scozzafava suspended her campaign for Congress on Saturday. Dede was the only 100% pro-women's health candidate in the race and was endorsed by Planned Parenthood Advocates of New York (PPANY) and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF).

While PPANY has not endorsed another candidate, as you consider who to vote for on Tuesday, we want to make sure you know that Conservative Party candidate, Doug Hoffman is anti-choice. His website states:

"I am pro-life, period,"

and he has been endorsed by anti-choice organizations including the New York State Right to Life Political Action Committee and the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee. If elected, he will vote against women and their families, their rights and their reproductive health. We cannot afford to have Doug Hoffman represent the families of NY 23.
