So friend,
It’s true. By forwarding this email to five
friends, you can protect the health and safety of women and win
elections in King County and around the State. We are counting
on you, and your vote.
Ballots for the 2009
General Election must be post-marked by TOMORROW - Tuesday,
November 3rd.
King County Executive candidate Susan Hutchison has refused
to answer questions on where she stands on a woman's right to
choose.
Over the last four years, while serving on the board of a
socially conservative foundation, Hutchison has directed nearly
$600,000 to support anti-choice efforts -- including more than
$150,000 to support the extreme anti-choice group Americans
United for Life, as well over $150,000 more to an anti-choice,
so-called "crisis pregnancy center" in Tacoma. If
Hutchison thinks that so-called "crisis pregnancy centers,"
where women are often intimidated and not given the information
they need to make well-informed decisions about their health,
provide adequate care for women, what does that mean for our
county's health clinics?

Think about it:
 |
One vote to Approve Referendum 71
can protect all Washington families, or roll the clock back on
equality. |
 |
One vote of No on Tim Eyman’s
I-1033 can make sure tens-of-thousands have access to
life-saving health care, including family planning, or make the
health care crisis and recession worse. |
 |
One vote for Dow Constantine for King
County Executive can make sure ultra right-wing,
anti-choice Susan Hutchison isn’t able to jeopardize
access to a full range of reproductive health services and
information at the county’s health
clinics. |

pass it on to your friends and family.
As we blast-off toward Election Day tomorrow, please,
take a couple minutes and forward this email to five
friends. Remember, with one vote you can make sure we
don’t roll back the clock on civil and human rights in
Washington.
Thanks for all you do,
Dana Laurent
