Dear Supporter,

You've volunteered for us.  You've rearranged schedules, stood under leaky canopies asking passersby for signatures, and made 100 phone calls only to be yelled at by anti-choicers.  For those of you who are running on empty, giving all you have and then some, asking over and over, “Who warms the sun??”  We’re giving back! 

Planned Parenthood is starting a monthly VOLUNTEER NIGHT where WE actually do something for YOU.  (So, no, we’re not looking for volunteers to run Volunteer Night.)  Anyone and everyone who is interested in getting involved in working with Planned Parenthood is welcome. 

We’ll all get together for a little information exchange (some training for those who are new, and getting feedback from those who are not so new), get to know each other, eat some vittles, maybe play some games (fair warning: I’m dangerously competitive), watch a movie, crown a “Volunteer of the Month,” etc.  The possibilities are endless. 

DATE: Thurs., Sept. 10, 2009, and every second Thursday of the month thereafter (e.g. Oct. 8, Nov. 12, Dec. 10, etc.)

TIME: 5:30PM

PLACE:  Planned Parenthood’s offices at 654 S. 900 E. in Salt Lake.
