Dear Supporter,

Our sex education bill's new sponsor, Senator Stephen Urquhart (R- Washington County), is fighting an uphill battle and he needs to hear your voices to push him past the opposition. He is bucking his own party to make this change happen, but he needs to hear that he's on the right side and that public support favors his decision to carry this message. We here at PPAC have talked til we're blue in the face, and we'll keep talking, but it's the citizens who hold the real sway. Here's what he needs to hear from you:

• Utah parents want and need the option of enrolling their child in a comprehensive reproductive health education class.
• The current system is failing kids and parents by keeping valuable information and resources out of their hands, and this must change.

Please take a moment today to email Senator Urquhart and tell him the system is broken. Let him know you support giving parents the option of enrolling their kids in a comprehensive reproductive health education class, and thank him for running this bill.
