Put Prevention First in 2007!
The 2007 Virginia General Assembly Session is underway - the first date of the session is January 10th. Your state legislators need to hear from you now with an important message: Put Prevention First!
Let your legislators know that you expect them to Put Prevention First by advancing legislation that will actually prevent unintended pregnancies and voting against restrictive legislation that will do nothing to help the women and families of Virginia.

Subject: Put Prevention First in 2007
Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,
As your constituent I wanted to contact you before the start of the 2007 General Assembly Session with an important message.
During the 2007 legislative session, I urge you to Put Prevention First instead of focusing on unnecessary and harmful legislation that restricts access to reproductive health care services.
Prevention means:
- Access to birth control, including emergency contraception
- Access to medically accurate, comprehensive sex education
- Access to family planning services (contraception, annual exams, breast exams)
I support Planned Parenthood's programs and efforts to PUT PREVENTION FIRST!
Sincerely,
|
