Do you watch local news or listen to local radio?

Get on Facebook?

Read the Fayetteville Observer or other local papers?

Read blogs or "micro-blog" on Twitter?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, Planned Parenthood needs your help!

It can be challenging for non-profits like us to get our message out to the public, especially these days when everyone's budget is limited and "traditional media" like newspapers are struggling.

You know that Planned Parenthood is a trusted reproductive health care provider for women, men and teens and that 95% of our services are preventative and primary health care. So how can we get that message out to the public?

That's where you come in! Help us amplify our message to the community by joining our Fayetteville Media Team!

Planned Parenthood Media Teams are unique groups of volunteers that help monitor local media for opportunities to insert Planned Parenthood's perspective into local issues. They can also help by getting their own voices out in the community both on-line and in local newspapers. The best part? This is a volunteer opportunity that you can do from home!

Want to learn more? Please join us for a information session and training in Fayetteville on Thursday, November 12 from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Dinner will be served!

Please RSVP to Jessica Ackley at jessica.ackley@ppcentralnc.org or (910) 366-9666 for additional details and to ensure enough supplies and food.

We hope to see you there!
