Welcome to the Planned Parenthood of Georgia Action Center!
Planned Parenthood’s mission is to provide voluntary family planning services and education that enhance personal and social understanding of human sexuality.
Our advocacy efforts are organized around five goals to ensure:
-
that all women have access to family planning services.
-
that every woman has access to safe, legal abortion.
-
that all women know about emergency contraception (EC) and that all healthcare providers make it available.
-
prescriptive equity — that all insurance plans which cover prescriptions include contraception.
-
that all young people have access to comprehensive, medically accurate sex education.
The Planned Parenthood Action Network (PPAN) allows you to easily and quickly make a difference on issues that you care about. You can send letters to our elected officials on current issues with just a few clicks of your mouse. PPAN provides you with a fast, easy, and free way to make our voice heard on critical issues.
