When I think about all the ups and downs we've been through in
the past year, I am so inspired to realize that despite
endless political attacks, despite an economic recession,
you stood with Planned Parenthood. It is thanks to the
support of members like you that Planned Parenthood
Federation of America was a tireless advocate protecting and
promoting women's health, and our affiliate health centers
provided care to three million women, men, and teens.
 Help us advocate for commonsense
programs and policies that give women and
young people more control over their reproductive lives and
their futures.
Help us continue to provide vital
support to the 850 Planned
Parenthood affiliate health centers as they care for millions of
low-income women, men, and teens — many of whom have
nowhere else to go for health care.
With the anti-choice
forces motivated more than ever by their opposition to President
Obama and health care reform, we need your help to stop the growing
threat to reproductive rights.
We definitely have our work cut out for us this year. But that's
what it means to be a part of Planned Parenthood —
for more than 90 years, we've risen to the toughest challenges
as courageous advocates, while helping to expand the reach and
range of care at our affiliate health centers. And with abortion
access severely threatened by health care reform, 2010 is
shaping up to be more challenging than any other year in
decades. I'm asking you to help us rise to
