While the debate over health care reform wages in Washington, Planned Parenthood of Illinois is fighting for women’s health right here at home. We're working hard to pass the Reproductive Health and Access Act (RHAA) — legislation that guarantees women and families complete information and real choices for reproductive care.

We have our work cut out for us, as anti-choice lawmakers are determined to undermine women's access to safe, high-quality reproductive health care — and that means that we need your support right now.

What we do right now to advance the Reproductive Health and Access Act will have an impact in Illinois communities for years to come. I can't help but think about what RHAA could mean to tomorrow's teens and young women in Peoria, Decatur, Bloomington and Chicago, who are just girls today, and who deserve to grow up with the freedom to make decisions about their own health.

Without access to abortion, choice is meaningless. Without access to basic information about contraception and family planning, sex education is meaningless.
