Last year's event with Gretchen Peters and Janis Ian at The Rutledge was so successful, intimate and moving that we had to do it again.  This year Ms. Peters brings with her a very special guest: Marshall Chapman. They will entertain with the same warm and personal feeling.  Exposed brick walls and easy accessibility give The Rutledge the perfect space and atmosphere to host this event.  If you want a sophisticated evening that feels comfortable, familiar and inviting then this is the event for you.

Visit Gretchen Peters' website to learn more about her.

Last January, Gretchen Peters and Janis Ian generously donated their time and talents for our fundraising efforts. They shared touching stories, signed autographs, and posed with fans for a remarkable evening that was beyond anticipation!  It was sold out last year, so get your ticket now to ensure you have a seat.

*Note that $30 per ticket is not tax-deductible (for General Admission, no tax write off; $30 for VIPs).

This is a fund raiser for PPMET's volunteer and Vox programs. Our volunteers give nearly 1,000 hours of their time each year (and that number is growing!) to help us meet our mission.  Our college and university young activist programs (Vox) are on campus at Vanderbilt University, University of Tennessee - Knoxville, and Middle Tennessee State University.  They hand out condoms, hold petition drives (like "Stop Stupak") and provide PPMET with extra volunteer help when needed.  The more our programs grow, the more our budgets grow.  Through fundraisers like "An Evening with Gretchen Peters," PPMET has been able to provide both volunteers and Vox members the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. for activist and leadership trainings among other things.
