Putting prevention first is the only way to get to the root of the problem by reducing unintended pregnancies. Women should have as many options available as possible when it comes to making reproductive health decisions.

Additional regulations and bans on reproductive services do not protect Missourians!

I am outraged that Missouri legislators failed to promote prevention by voting to allow abstinence-only sex education in schools, ban trained sex educators from public schools, and close abortion clinics.

Prevention means: * Access to birth control, including emergency contraception. * Access to medically accurate, comprehensive sex education. * Access to affordable family planning and reproductive health care.
