 KC Metro Sex Ed Town Hall

All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church on the Plaza

Join teens, parents, educators, medical professionals, legislators, and concerned community members in a discussion on the importance of giving our teens age-appropriate, medically accurate, comprehensive sex education.
This is a bi-state town hall focusing on the greater Kansas City metro area.
Don't miss this opportunity to make your voice heard about the need for responsible sex ed in our local schools!

First Fridays at the Crossroads

Help Planned Parenthood gather Prevention Petitions and take in the great art the Kansas City has to offer! This will likely be our last First Fridays petition-gathering event until the spring, so come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with us one last time in 2009!

Visit Planned Parenthood's Table at the Mid-America Freedom Band's
Rainbow Revolution Concert

MAFB will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City with this musically and mentally stimulating event. Rainbow Revolution will be a tribute and celebration of the music, events, and people that have shaped the fight for freedom and acceptance over these past 40 years and beyond.
MAFB will be joined by other community organizations (including PPKM!) participating in the event to promote community involvement and cohesion.

Phone Banks For Health Care Reform!

Help Planned Parenthood reach out to supporters and concerned citizens to help promote positive reform of our health care system and protect women's reproductive health services. This is a critical moment in the reform debate! We will be calling Missouri and Kansas supporters as well as supporters in other key states and reaching out to constituents in order to increase activism and awareness when it's needed most.  

We'll provide training and snacks!

KC Metro Actio
n Team Meeting

Get involved on a grassroots level and join PPKM's Metro Action Team (MAT).  MAT is a bi-state community group of citizens from all over the Kansas City metro region who are concerned about the status of reproductive health in today’s society and are determined to fight for change in both Kansas and Missouri.

 Wichita Volunteer Night

Every third Wednesday of the month is Planned Parenthood Volunteer Action Night in Wichita!  We need you to help us further the mission of PPKM. We know you're busy, so we have created a new opportunity for you and your friends to get involved and get your voice heard! 
Join us at the Wichita Health Center to work on projects, update one another on current legislation and events, and of course, have fun!

Pizza, soda, and music provided!

Petition-Gathering at RecordBar -
Erin McKeown & Jill Sobule Concert
