SB 134 Thanks

Please thank your Senator for supporting Contraceptive Equity.
One piece of proactive legislation that would've done something concrete about unintended pregnancies in South Dakota was introduced in the Legislature this year and it had a good run. Even though SB 134 (Contraceptive Equity) died in Committee it was given a second chance by the entire Senate Body.
SB 134 died on the Senate floor Tuesday afternoon by a vote of 13 - 22.
Even though the measure failed, it's important to recognize and thank those Senators who stood up for the women and working families of South Dakota; trying to make contraception more affordable.
