Greetings,

Last week Governor Hoeven signed HB 1466--the abortion ban.  

For now, the women of North Dakota are still able to access the full range of reproductive health care options available to them.

Many thanks to all of our supporters in North Dakota for their vigilant efforts to stop this horrible ban. Even with passage of HB1466, together, we still shaped public policy to support the health and privacy of North Dakota women. Take a look at the legislative year in review:

Proactive Legislation Passed:

HB 1471: $50,000 HPV vaccine funding

HB 2103: Sexual Assault victim assistance

Anti-Choice Legislation Defeated:

SB 2400:  Full citizenship rights for fetuses

HB 1494: Ban on public funds for genetic testing.

HB 1464: Requires state scripting of physicians.

HB 1489: Ban on common birth control methods  

All of your emails, phone calls and letters to the editor truly made a difference for the women and families of North Dakota.  We simply could not have made such progress without your help.
