Planned Parenthood® of Southern New Jersey

Greetings,

The House is scheduled to vote on their historic health care bill TOMORROW, Saturday, November 7th.

Only 1 Democrat from NJ has not committed to vote YES on the House health care bill -- Rep. John Adler (NJ-03).

Call Rep. Adler's DC office right now at 202-225-4765 and tell him to vote YES on the Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR 3962).

Health care reform is a marathon, not a sprint.  There are many steps in the process to overhaul our nation's broken health care system.  This is why Planned Parenthood and our partners have asked you so many times to contact Members of Congress.  And today, we need to ask you once again.

Rep. Adler needs to hear your voice right now to make sure he votes YES on the House bill. This is the first of the big votes - the first time an entire House of Congress is set to pass comprehensive health care legislation in this country's history.

The House bill will provide tax credits to working families to make sure everyone can afford health care.  It prohibits insurance companies from denying care if you have a pre-existing condition, or charging you more if you're a woman.  It strengthens Medicare and the coverage you get at work to make sure you have the care you need.  And it includes a strong public health insurance option to keep the insurance companies honest and give us a choice.

Please call Rep. Adler's DC office right now at 202-225-4765 and tell him to vote YES on the Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR 3962).
