Following the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the federal abortion ban, it is clear that women's health and right to privacy are facing a new level of attack.  Justices Thomas and Alito have reaffirmed their belief that Roe v. Wade should be entirely overturned, and the Court has opened the door to new abortion regulations.  A woman's right to choose is hanging by a thread in the Supreme Court.

That's why pro-choice groups like PPNT are working to pass the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA).  FOCA would restore the reproductive rights recognized in the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision by prohibiting the government from interfering with a woman's right to choose to bear a child or terminate a pregnancy.  FOCA would codify Roe v. Wade and guarantee the right to choose for future generations of women.

Urge your Congressmembers to support the Freedom of Choice Act.  Then ask your friends to do the same.  Thank you!

The Supreme Court's recent decision to uphold the federal abortion ban puts women's health in danger and lets politicians--not doctors--decide what medical procedures are safe.

In light of this reckless decision, I urge you to support the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), which will codify a woman's right to choose to bear a child or terminate a pregnancy.

The Freedom of Choice Act will help protect women's health and keep politics out of their personal, private medical decisions.
