Bullying! Planting Seeds & Harvesting Peace/ Facilitator: Rita Cotterly, PhD/ Bullying ignored frequently leads to torment, suicide, rape, school dropouts and murder. These negative and destructive behaviors are so pervasive in our culture and worldwide that they appear to be the "norm" and insurmountable. This pervasiveness can lead to paralysis and despair, yet numerous individuals and organizations are making a difference. This workshop will define bullying, show its extent in our culture, illustrate some possible causes and list practical strategies to counteract it. This workshop is designed for social workers, counselors, educators, nurses, youth workers and other professionals who need this knowledge to effectively meet the needs of adolescents and young adults. / Friday, February 13, 2009 9 am - 12:15 pm Fort Worth, TX To register visit our website at www.ppnt.org or email questions to Training.Info@ppnt.org.
