Sensuality and pleasure are important components of human sexuality, yet many health education programs focus solely on sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancy and skip over discussions of pleasure. Through dynamic exercises, this training will cover valuable information on sexual anatomy and desire, as well as how to incorporate age-appropriate information on pleasure into new and existing youth and adult programs. At the end of the training, participants will be able to: understand sexual anatomy and desire, discuss tips that make safer sex education more fun and appealing, articulate how partner communication can influence pleasure and the level of satisfaction with a relationship, and use strategies to incorporate pleasure into new and existing health and sex education services.
