When talking about abortion, birth control, or real sex ed, even the most knowledgeable of us can get tongue-tied when faced with challenging questions. As a leader in the reproductive health and rights movement, Planned Parenthood has learned how to talk about these issues in ways that are both compelling and sensitive. This workshop will discuss some new and different methods for thinking and talking about these issues and will proivide tools that participants can use in their own conversations with friends, family and colleagues. We'll also go over topical issues and spend the bulk of the workshop in a PPNYC-led group conversation on how to answer challenging questions. There will be a special focus on participants' concerns/areas of interest.
