Join activists from New York City and around the Region for a Day of Action on June 11th to help raise awareness about the importance of Real Sex Education!

The Basics:

June 11th will be a citywide Day of Action that will demonstrate the power of pro-choice New York! Join with other activists to raise awareness about the importance of real sex education and learn how to be an effective grassroots activist. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. We will provide lunch for a $5 suggested donation. You are also free to bring a lunch of your own. Indicate in the comments section: "I will bring lunch" or "Please provide lunch for me."

Participants will:

1. Learn multiple hands-on grassroots skills, such as:
     o Petitioning;
     o Phone banking; and
     o Door-to-door canvassing
2. Meet other activists that are committed to change
3. Have a great time while changing the course of our future!

What Can You Expect?

Hands-on participation. It?s a training that will take us out of our homes and into the streets, to public parks, street corners and people?s front doors. We?ll be hitting the streets (and the phones) to tell people ? real people ? why they should care about comprehensive sex education.

It will be hard work. You will probably do things you?ve never done before. You will have a great time!
