Sexuality across the Lifespan

Sexuality is an integral part of the human experience that spans the entire life cycle. Join us for an exploration of the sexual development characteristics of each stage of a person’s life: from infancy to the golden years. This training will also provide an overview of how sexuality education can be tailored to meet the needs of individuals at each stage of development. At the end of the training, participants will be able to: identify the sexual development characteristics for children, teens, adults, and the elderly; describe common concerns and life events that influence how individuals experience sexuality; and use techniques to deliver age-appropriate sexuality education.

When: Monday, July 14, 2008 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Fee: $90.00

Audience: Health and social service providers, sexuality educators

PPNYC Trainers:

Michele Bayley, M.P.H., Associate Vice President of Education and Training

Amanda Perez, M.P.H., Director of Adult Education and Professional Training
