The PPNYC Activist Council is a great opportunity to make a difference, gain some skills, and build your resume while meeting other fun, like-minded New York City pro-choice activists!

Once trained, members are free to decide what types of projects and issues interest them most. Beyond the monthly meetings, the level of time commitment is up to each person. These trainings always fill up fast - RSVP now by clicking here.

Members can join workgroups including:

Sex Ed Advocacy Group

Plan community educational forums & advocate for comprehensive sex ed!

 Political Action Group

Participate in lobby visits, phone banks, and house parties for our political work!

 Fundraising Group

Organize and host fundraising events that raise money to support PPNYC!

Field Group

Attend community events and activities to get the word out about PPNYC's health care services and legislative & political work!

Clinic Escorts

Join our fabulous team of health center patient escorts

or participate on a project-by-project basis.
