Dear friend,
NEXT
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20TH, IS NATIONAL HEALTH CARE REFORM
DAY OF
ACTION!!
Below are
two great ways you can pitch in.
A PICTURE'S
WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS
We're asking all volunteers and supporters of PPNYC to tell
us, and the world, what real health care reform means to them,
especially when it comes to women's health.
So take a picture of yourself holding
up a sign, saying what you want to see included in health
care, and send it in along with the permission form.
We’ll post it on our blog and send it
to our members of congress, to let them know that women should
be better, not worse, off after health care reform.
Check out what other supporters have
submitted and find out how to contribute your own statement

CALL-IN TO
HEAR FROM SEN. KIRSTEN GILLIBRAND
ON HEALTH CARE
REFORM!
Since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion
nearly 40 years ago, anti-choice forces have tried
unsuccessfully to block access to abortion through the courts
and state legislatures across the country. We won't let them hijack health care reform to
meet their goal of restricting a woman's right to
choose!
On an October 20th call, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gilliband will
talk about health care reform and the threats to women's health
care with Planned Parenthood super activists. This call is only
for supporters like you who have taken action on behalf of
Planned Parenthood!
CALL-IN to get
the insider's view on health care reform negotiations in
Congress directly from Senator Gillibrand.
ACT on the
Senator's call to action. During the call, she'll tell
supporters like you what steps are needed to protect women's
health care and Planned Parenthood.
ENGAGE friends
and family. Tweet, post, txt, email and speak with others to
urge their action, as well.
Join this call for super activists and gain insight into how
Planned Parenthood and its patients may be impacted.
