Current Members:As the political action arm of Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island, VOTES! will work to elect pro-choice candidates at the local, state and federal level; pass laws and policies that support women's health; defeat anti-choice legislation and help to turn out a record number of pro-choice voters in November 2008!
With the elections upon us in November, it is crucial to remember that right now--in our own Democratic controlled statehouse--only 16 our of 75 representatives and 10 out of 38 Senators are reliably and actively voting pro-choice.
