Planned Parenthood of Southern New England Privacy Policy

The privacy of our customers is important to Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE).  We understand that visitors to ppaction.org/ppri need to be in control of their personal information.  Therefore, the following is the PPSNE Internet Privacy Policy:

You do not have to give us personal information to visit our sites.  If you choose not to provide personally identifiable information, you can still visit PPSNE pages.  We may collect personally identifiable information (name, e-mail address, physical address, and other unique identifier) only if specifically and knowingly provided by you.  Personally identifying information collected will be used only in connection with this site, or for such purposes as are described at the point of collection.  PPSNE performs analyses of user behavior in order to measure customer interest in the various areas of our sites.  PPSNE also uses listserves to send out information and change notices to subscribed users of our sites.  PPSNE does not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information to third parties other than the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.  If we share demographic information with third parties, we will give them aggregate information only.  While PPSNE will make every attempt to protect the personal infromation that you share with us, electronic mail is not secure against interception.  If your communication is very sensitive, you should send it by postal mail instead.  PPSNE would like to receive your comments and questions regarding the PPSNE Internet Privacy Policy, write to us at support@ppsne.org.

We may occasionally update this policy.  Notice of revisions will be posted here. 

Planned Parenthood reserves the right to share information you provide (including any identifying information you provide) with legal authorities if it is, in our sole opinion, necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected fraud, situations involving threats or potential harm to the physical safety of any person, or if required by law (such as if required by a subpoena, court order or other legal means).
