Our Core Issues
Planned Parenthood believes in access to family planning and reproductive health care services for all who want and need them. We believe that every woman — regardless of income, age, marital status, or geographic location — has the fundamental right to decide when and whether to have a child.
Planned Parenthood fully supports the Prevention First Act, an omnibus family planning and women's health initiative that seeks to expand access to preventive reproductive health care services and education programs, help reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, prevent the spread of STDs, and reduce the need for abortion.
