Sexual Health Building Blocks: Gender, Sexuality and Relationships
Planned Parenthood Dayton Health Center

We know that teens are having sex, thinking about sex or at least curious about sex. It's natural! This two-day training will help parents and professionals (teachers, nurses, social workers, schools administrators) address sexual health topics with the youth (or adults) in their lives. With a focus on gender, sexuality and relationships, this training will provide the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to teach youth to maker safer, healthier decisions.

Why should you attend this training?

  • If you work with youth and want to feel more confident and competent in teaching sexuality education or answering tough questions.
  • If you need resources for helping young people to reach adulthood.
  • If you want to support young people in gaining developmental assets.
  • If you just want more information on healthy sexuality, puberty and reproductive anatomy/physiology.
  • If you want a better understanding of the intersections between sexuality and trauma.
  • If you want more information on the LGBTQ spectrum and how to be a better ally.

CEUs for social work, counselors and CHES are available.
