FAPPA actively follows state and federal legislation in a number of public policy arenas and promotes education, counseling and clinical services in the fields of reproductive health care and family planning. We monitor administrative, legislative and regulatory actions, including statewide and local initiatives. We mobilize our activists across the state in support of proactive public policy initiatives that increase access to family planning, sex educationand abortion and work tirelessly to defeat anti-choice and anti-birth control legislation and policies.

For almost a century, building healthy communities has been Planned Parenthood’s mission. Our health care services include life-saving cancer screenings, breast health care, well-woman exams, contraceptive services, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and much more. Over 90% of the services we offer are preventive and help women, families and communities stay healthy.
