What is Planned Parenthood Fearless Fundraisers?

Planned Parenthood Fearless Fundraisers is an active and engaged community of Planned Parenthood supporters who care about protecting women's health and rights in their local communities and across the nation. Our Fearless Fundraisers raise money for Planned Parenthood by creating their own personal page and using it to raise money from their friends, family, and communities. Being a Fearless Fundraiser is a way to show that you are proud to stand with Planned Parenthood.

What is the point of this type of fundraising?

Peer-to-peer fundraising gives you the power to tell your story about why Planned Parenthood is important and help support our work. You can get your friends and family involved by sharing your story and your passion with them.

In turn, your fundraising efforts will help our network of more than 60 affiliates continue to provide provide more than 4,665,000 people with sexual and reproductive health care, education, and information every year, and remain the most influential advocate for women’s health and rights in the U.S.

Should I start and individual fundraiser or a group fundraiser?

This depends on the type of fundraiser you are having! If you are fundraising by yourself, then an individual fundraiser is the right fit for you. No teammates required — you just create your personal page and start raising money! If you want to fundraise with a group of friends, then select team fundraiser, and you and your group can create a fundraiser together.

How do I add someone to my team?

You can only add people to your team during the registration stage, unless they ask to join your team later. To add someone during registration, complete your Team registration until you get to the Registration Summary page. Next to the "Complete Registration" button is a gray button that says "Register Another Person." Click this button to add someone else to your team. Then walk through all the usual registration steps to create an account for them.
